Known also as The Great One of the Night of Time and ruled by that old Lord of Time, Saturn, the card of The World (sometimes called The Universe) represents completion of a cycle and subsequently, the beginning of another.
There is a mystery embodied in this card - it is a card of endings, and because of that, it is also a card of beginnings, because surely from one must come the other? The World represents a successful completion of a cycle - a place you arrive at where you have learnt the lessons of the journey you embarked on all that time ago, and it will soon be time for a new adventure. But let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Now is the time to enjoy your accomplishments, no matter how big or small they may be.
This card lets you know that you are ok, you can deal with whatever life throws at you (which is surely why you chose this road to begin with). Sometimes you need to remind yourself that you can achieve what you aspire to, and not let doubts creep in and ruin your fun and your sense of achievement.
This card also represents the warping of space and time, for those of you into quantum physics will understand that time is not linear, it does not start at this dot and end at that, but it is an ever upward spiral that can contain itself in its beginning and its end. It represents the cycle of birth and rebirth, expiration and renewal, another symbol of rising from the ashes of what was and yearning towards and accomplishing what will be.
There is a sense of triumph with this card, synchronicities abound if you let them, and so you feel you are in the right place at the right time. There is nothing to fear, the World and indeed the Universe embrace you and confirm to you that you belong in it.
So now it is time to ask yourself - "What is my next great adventure?"
