The Knight of Wands can bring a change of place - travel to a foreign land, or a change of residence. On a deeper level, he heralds a broadening of attitudes and beliefs, and a desire to expand your small world and embrace possibilities, ideas, and a different way of facing life.
It is exciting and sometimes nerve-wracking, especially if you have been playing it safe and certain. You are about to be swept off your feet.
As a person this Knight is dashing, exciting, eager to be off on his next adventure and therefore not one to stick around if you are hesitant in any way.
Not exactly known for his reliability or adherence to rules and protocols, this Knight will in turns delight and exasperate. His enthusiasm is contagious and he will always cheer up a cold and dark room - he is a breath of fresh air, and will light a fire under you if you are hesitant or fearful.
After he has done that and made you eager for adventure and something different from your normal day to day existence, he is off again in a whirl and a flash of hooves.
But don't be disheartened or disappointed - his job was to awaken you to the wide world and the richness of life that is to be had beyond the boundaries of your door's threshold. Once your eyes are opened to this wider plane of existence, you can never really go back to your small and safe haven, nor will you wish to.
