The Ten of Pentacles is also called the Lord of Wealth and is aligned with Mercury in Virgo and represents the outer manifestation of inner wealth, completion and ongoing security.
As a Ten it represents the completion of a cycle, one that begins with the potential embodied in the Ace and then traverses the highs and lows and everything in between the energy of the Suit.
So having traveled the road of material concerns, you have gained and lost and gained again along the way and come at last to the culmination of the lessons from the physical world.
Having come into your riches, what will you do? Will you hoard your good fortune, ensuring that it stagnates and does no-one any good, including you. Or will you squander it, uncomfortable in the actual having of what you've always wanted?
The Ten of Pentacles, on the surface, is the culminating wish of everyone who ever dreamed of winning the lottery and having a life of ease. But this card also reminds us that money is not everything - rather it is in the having of what you believe financial security will provide for you that is the better question to ask. Is it freedom, is it ease, is it the ceasing of fear and insecurity that is so appealing?
Nothing stays the same, life is all about change and so how will you use your good fortune - will you change the world, will you change your values, will you change who you thought you always were?
These are fascinating questions, and worth investigating if only to learn more about yourself and the world around you.
Whatever the outcome, this card brings to your door a pinnacle of prosperity that has the potential to grow you beyond your present boundaries.
