Known also as the Magus of Power and ruled by Mercury, The Magician represents communication between the realms of matter and spirit and also the ability to just make things happen, seemingly out of thin air.
He represents that part of us that can tap into knowledge we didn't know we had, and it takes trust and letting go of the need to be right in order to access this part of ourselves. His energy is that of infinite resourcefulness - he often will show up when we are at the end of our tether and have lost faith in our ability to find a solution. This is when we need to access the archetype of the Magician within, and trust that magical part of ourselves to provide the solution. Analysing the situation and using all ones learning and knowledge does not help - it is trusting a deeper part of ourselves that holds the key.
Whenever there is a task or outcome that you need to make happen and you have no idea how to even make a start, ask the Magician to help you. His resources and resourcefulness are limitless, and his skill in organising, communicating and ability to come up with the creative solution that is just right in the circumstances will always surprise you. But everyone has this ability - we just don't choose to either use or believe in it.
Dreams are often powerful and guiding under his influence, so if you have a problem that seems insurmountable, hand it over to the Magician before you go to sleep and you will often waken with just the right answer, that logic and learning could never have provided. There is a subtlety to The Magician, and he needs to be respected because he can also turn into the Trickster without the right amount of deference to his powers.
It is time for you to connect with your creative potential and use it to enrich your life.
