• This course is designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike, so no prior tarot experience is required.
• All you need is an open mind, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and reflect.

2. What You’ll Need 🛠️

1. A Tarot Deck Based on the Rider-Waite System
   • Why Rider-Waite? It’s a foundational deck that many modern tarot decks draw upon, making it an excellent starting point for understanding key symbols and meanings.
   • Choosing Your Deck:
     • If you don’t have a Rider-Waite deck, consider a deck inspired by it, such as the Universal Waite, Radiant Rider-Waite, or your personal favorite that closely follows the Rider-Waite structure.
     • Tip: Pick a deck that resonates with you visually and energetically—it should feel like an inspiring companion on your journey. We've used our own Voyager Tarot Deck for the illustrations in this course - we suggest you use a deck that you can connect with most easily. The symbols referred to in this course are found in the Rider-Waite deck.

   • Why Keep a Journal?
     • Journaling helps you track your progress, document readings, and reflect on personal insights. It’s a valuable tool for deepening your connection with the cards.
   • Suggestions for Your Journal:
     • Choose a notebook that feels special to you, whether it’s simple and practical or decorative and unique.
     • Create sections for daily draws, reflections on card meanings, spread interpretations, and personal insights.
     • Optional: Use color coding, stickers, or drawings to make it uniquely yours.
3. The Course Workbooks (Downloadable PDFs)
   • Each module comes with a downloadable workbook containing:
     • Key lesson summaries
     • Journaling prompts and reflection spaces
     • Exercises for practicing spreads and card interpretations
     • End-of-module quizzes to test your understanding
   • Tip: Print the workbooks or use a digital device for easy access. For handwritten learners, printed versions can make the experience tactile and engaging.

     • Cleansing removes old or stagnant energy and helps you connect with your cards personally.
   • How to Cleanse:
     • Pass your deck through the smoke of incense or sage.
     • Place the deck on a windowsill under moonlight for an energetic reset.
     • Hold your deck in your hands, close your eyes, and set an intention for your tarot journey.
   • Personal Connection Exercise:
     • Spend a few minutes shuffling and exploring your deck. Look at each card and notice what emotions, symbols, or colors stand out to you.
